PACCAR Honored by Flemish Minister-President
November 1, 2006, Bellevue, Washington Flemish Minister-President Yves Leterme awarded the Commander of the Order of the Crown to PACCAR Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mark Pigott in recognition of the companys outstanding contribution to the strong growth of DAF in Belgium. Minister-President Leterme commented, PACCAR and DAF are one of the leading companys in Belgium. DAFs commitment towards long-term growth benefiting its employees, customers and the Belgium economy is a remarkable achievement. Mark Pigott shared, It is an honor to accept this recognition on behalf of the 2,000 DAF employees in Westerlo, Belgium, whose dedication and creativity have enabled the company to become a world leader in the commercial vehicle industry.
